About Lochmeyler Farm Cottages

A warm welcome awaits you at Lochmeyler Farm Cottages which are located on our 300 acre working, dairy farm, 3 miles inland from the coastal footpath, 4 miles north east of Solva and 6 miles east of St Davids – the smallest city in Great Britain.

Lochmeyler Farm dates back as far as the 11th century and was said to be named after Meylir a descendant of Bleddyn ap Cynfyn, Prince of Powys. Many different families have resided at Lochmeyler over the years.

Glyn and Morfydd Jones bought Lochmeyler in 1989 and over the years have turned it into a successful Dairy Farm and Holiday Cottages.

Their daughter, Margo and her husband, Matthew took over the running of the farm in 2009. The decision was made to turn it into self catering cottages in 2015/16.
